Services and pricing are generally performed on a per square foot (SF) basis, shown below. Each option includes providing the client with four sets of completed construction documents, which are fully engineered and will be stamped by a licensed professional engineer when sent to states of Utah or New Mexico.
Stock Plans |
$0.45 / SF. Heritage Home Designs has a number of ready-made stock plans. Clients are encouraged to make minor modifications to stock plans to suit individual family desires. Minor modifications are characterized by minor movements of interior walls, changes to exterior finishes, window change-outs, etc., and will be completed at no cost to the client. More significant modifications will be priced prior to accomplishment and will be added to the total project fee at the client’s request. |
Design |
$0.20 / SF. This is a one-time fee to provide conceptual design prior to preparation of construction documents. Heritage Home Designs will provide complete conceptual design of floor plan and elevations, usually taking the complete design process through the 20% stage, including reviews by client and provides for a reasonable number of design restarts at no cost to the client. Fee is for effort provided and is paid before work begins. |
Note: Clients are encouraged to bring a conceptual floorplan or hand-sketch and elevation ideas / pictures to the Heritage Home Designs team to facilitate the design process. |

Construction Documents |
$0.70 / SF. Once client approves design, Heritage Home Designs proceeds to complete construction documents – plans and specifications. Plans are fully engineered for the construction location, at no additional cost. |
Designs provided are for construction of one home on one lot unless other arrangements are made with Heritage Home Designs—we reserve and maintain the intellectual copyright for all home designs.
All square foot pricing is for finished floor area above grade – this excludes unfinished basement areas (one each) and reasonable garage space. We reserve the right to modify pricing guidelines for unusual projects.
