Site Plans
Heritage Home Designs will include a detailed site plan in the construction documents at the client’s request. To enable this service, clients will need to provide a plat map or legal site description to Heritage Home Designs via fax, e-mail or hand drop. Completed site plan will include site setbacks, sidewalks, main floor and street elevations, driveway, some landscaping ideas, general land contours and other major features. Fee is $200 / project.
Engineering
Generally, other home designers do not provide engineering services inherent with their designs. Upon request, clients are encouraged to bring home designs from other providers to Heritage Home Designs and we will provide structural engineering services at a competitive price. That is, Heritage Home Designs will provide complete structural calculations and engineering drawing sheets for the project. Fee for this stand-alone service is $0.20 / SF.
Construction
Clients have options from which to select:
- Heritage Home Designs is ready and willing to work with any builder or construction agent selected by our clients. We provide a reasonable but limited number of on-site consultant visits when requested by clients.
- Heritage Home Designs can offer recommendations to clients for reputable builders in the area, to which we also would provide the same on-site consultant support.
- Heritage Home Designs has partnered with two licensed general contractors in the area that provide cost-plus construction services. Normal fee for these contractors is 8% of construction cost.
